  2. Last year, Miami-Dade Community College hosted three institutes for instructors interested in integrating multimedia into their curriculum.
  3. Summer Institute One
  4. Learn how to use basic multimedia tools to integrate technology into instruction. Includes coverage of CD-ROMs, color scanners, graphic and sound tools, video, and authoring tools.
  5. Summer Institute Two
  6. Learn how to use high-level multimedia tools to create original instruction materials. Coverage includes slide scanners, digital cameras, video capture, and graphic tools.
  7. Fall Institute
  8. Tips on gathering multimedia using CD-ROM, QuickTime movies, scanners, video capture boards, and sound digitizers. Applying instructional design principles to multimedia courseware. Repurposing videodiscs. Using graphics, animation, and authoring tools.
